Deviled Ham Chicken Sandwiches Recipe
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce.) can deviled ham
- 1/3 c. sm. curd cream style cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 2 tbsp. minced dill pickle, liquid removed
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 10 slices wheat bread, toasted
- 5 ounces sliced cooked chicken or possibly turkey
- 5 slices Monterey Jack cheese (5 ounce.)
- 5 slices tomato (1 lg.)
- 5 lettuce leaves
- In a small bowl combine deviled ham, cottage cheese, mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing, celery, dill pickle, horseradish and mustard; mix well.
- On half of the toasted bread slices layer 2 Tbsp.
- ham mix, sliced chicken, Monterey Jack cheese, 2 more Tbsp.
- ham mix, tomato slices and lettuce.
- Top each with another toasted bread slice.
- Cut sandwiches in half to serve.
- Makes 5 servings.
