Shrimp and Grits
- 1 lb Shrimp
- 1 lb Manda chicken green onion sausage
- 1/2 lb mushroom
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 orange bell pepper
- 1 red onion
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 cup corn grits
- 2 cup milk
- Melt butter in pan and veggies.
- Cook until tender.
- Add sausage and shrimp.
- Season with garlic and onion powder, and, Cajun seasoning.
- While the shrimps are cooking mix 1/4 cup water and flour.
- Once the the shrimp are pick ads flour mixture.
- Allow juices to thicken.
- Cook grits.
- Use 2 cups of water and 2 cups milk.
- Add salt and pepper for taste.
- Once cooked add 4 tbsp of butter and 1/2 cup of Italian blend cheese.
- Plate grits and spoon over shrimp mixture
