Blueberries 'n Cheese Coffeecake
- 12 cup butter
- 1 14 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 14 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 14 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, mix well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, toss blueberries with remaining flour.
- Fold berries into batter with cream cheese and lemon peel.
- Pour into greased and floured 13x9 baking pan.
- Combine sugar, flour, and peel; cut in butter until mixture looks like small crumbs.
- Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
- Cool.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
