Anni's Chili Recipe
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 2 can kidney beans
- 1 lrg can V-8 juice
- 1 sm head cabbage sliced
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 sm can crushed or possibly minced tomato optional
- 1 pch salt optional
- 1 tsp chili pwdr (1 to 2)
- This can be cooked on the stove or possibly in a crock pot.
- Put V-8 juice in the pot or possibly crock pot.
- Now, brown grnd beef and add in to the juice.
- You can now add in the rest of the ingredients.
- Cook over simmer heat till the cabbage is done or possibly to the consistency you like.
- Stir occasionally.
- You can serve this over rice and you can also sprinkle with cheese.
- It is really good.
- Tried and true old family recipe right out of my grandmothers kitchen.
- They had veggie juice back then, not the v-8.
