Marshmallow Pineapple Dessert Recipe
- 1/2 pound marshmallows (half of 1 pound pkg.)
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
- About 10 ounce. crushed pineapple (1/2 - 20 ounce. can)
- 16 graham cracker squares
- Heat marshmallows with lowfat milk in a double boiler.
- Let it cold then add in whipped cream.
- Then add in liquid removed pineapple.
- Crush graham crackers and put most of the crumbs in the bottom of a 7"x11" pan.
- Pour in the filling and sprinkle the rest of the crumbs on the top.
- Chill.
- Cut in squares to serve.
- Measure the marshmallows by weight rather than by counting the amount, due to variations in marshmallow sizes recently.
- Optional, nuts may be added.
- To serve more people, about 15 to 16, double the ingredients and place in a 9"x13" pan.
