Pasta Fagioli With Sausage
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 14 lb sweet Italian sausage, 1 link (casings removed and discarded)
- 1 12 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder, dissolved in 3 cups hot water
- 1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 12 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 18 teaspoon onion salt
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces ditalini
- 1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 14 cup grated parmesan cheese
- In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat.
- Crumble sausage into saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic; cook 1 minute.
- Add dissolved bouillon, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, onion salt and pepper.
- Bring to boiling over high heat.
- Stir in pasta.
- Reduce heat; simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, 10 to 11 minutes.
- Stir in beans; cook until beans are heated through, about 1 minute.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
