Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 (12 ounce) packagesof regular bacon
- 2 (8 ounce) cans water chestnuts
- toothpick
- Soak the toothpicks in water.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut the bacon in half horizontally.
- Generously rub pinches of brown sugar on both sides of the bacon.
- Roll a waterchestnut in the bacon.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Place on a greased pan.
- Repeat until all the bacon is used up.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
