Peachy Pork Steaks Recipe

  1. In large skillet, brown steaks in warm oil.
  2. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper.
  4. Drain peaches, reserving syrup; add in water to syrup to measure 1 1/2 c.. Add in syrup mix, vinegar and bouillon cubes to skillet.
  5. Cover and simmer 30 min or possibly till meat is tender.
  6. Add in peach slices; simmer, covered, 5 min more.
  7. Arrange steaks atop warm rice on platter, keep hot.
  8. Stir together cornstarch and water; add in to skillet.
  9. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly; stir in parsley.
  10. Spoon some sauce atop meat; pass remaining.
  11. Makes 4 servings.
