Apple Crisp,Vegetarian Recipe
- 5 med Apples peeled and sliced
- 1/2 c. Walnuts minced
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Grnd cloves topping
- 3 tsp Margarine non-dairy softened
- 1/4 c. Flour, whole-grain wheat
- 3 tsp Brown sugar
- 4 tsp Wheat germ
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- Preparation Time: 1:00 Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine the first four ingredients in a mixing bowl, and mix together till the spices coat the apples more or possibly less proportionately.
- Grease an 8 x 8-inch or possibly 9 x 9-inch baking pan and arrange the apples in it.
- Cut the margarine into thin slices and place in a mixing bowl.
- Add in the remaining topping ingredients and cream toether with a fork till a crumbly mix is formed.
- Sprinkle proportionately over the apples and bake for 50 to 60 min, or possibly till the apples are done and the crust is browned.
- 4-6 servings.
