Beer Braised BBQ Pork for Sandwiches
- 12 ounces beer your favorite or beef stock
- 3 pounds pork ribs boneless
- 18 ounces barbecue sauce your favorite
- Pour the can of beer into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs.
- You can also use a Boston butt or other pork shoulder cut.
- Cook on High setting of your slow cooker for about 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily.
- Remove meat and shred with two forks.
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Transfer the shredded pork to a suitable roasting pan and stir in barbeque sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
- Serve on crusty Italian rolls.
- This recipe is easily modified, try using a can of coca cola or beef stock or even Dr. Pepper!
