Beer Braised BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

  1. Pour the can of beer into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs.
  2. You can also use a Boston butt or other pork shoulder cut.
  3. Cook on High setting of your slow cooker for about 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily.
  4. Remove meat and shred with two forks.
  5. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  6. Transfer the shredded pork to a suitable roasting pan and stir in barbeque sauce.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
  8. Serve on crusty Italian rolls.
  9. This recipe is easily modified, try using a can of coca cola or beef stock or even Dr. Pepper!
