Whole Wheat Crescent Rolls Recipe
- 2 Packages yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 1/2 c. white flour
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Stir in sugar, salt, Large eggs, butter and whole wheat flour.
- Beat with spoon till smooth.
- Fold in white whole wheat flour.
- Beat with spoon till smooth.
- Fold in white flour till smooth.
- Round up in a greased bowl, cover and let rise till double, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
- Divide dough in half.
- Roll out on a floured board.
- Spread with melted butter, cut in wedges.
- Roll up wedges and put on greased baking sheet with points tucked to underside.
- Cover and let rise again (about an hour).
- Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 min.
