Chocolate-Lemon Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix wafer crumbs and margarine; press firmly onto bottom of 8-inch square baking pan.
  3. Bake 5 min.
  4. Meanwhile, beat eggs, lemon zest and lemon juice with wire whisk until well blended.
  5. Add sugar, flour and baking powder; mix well.
  6. Pour over crust.
  7. Bake 25 min.
  8. Cool on wire rack 10 min.
  9. ; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  10. Cut into 16 squares.
  11. Serve warm.
  12. Store leftover bars in tightly covered container at room temperature.
