How To Roll A Burrito
- 1 each Tortilla
- 1 box Stuff to put in a burrito
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium.
- Add oil just to coat the pan.
- When the pan just barely begins to smoke, lay a tortilla to cook.
- Gently toast your tortilla on both sides.
- Remove to a clean surface.
- Arrange your chosen filling materials in the center of your tortilla.
- Fold down the sides as shown.
- Now for the tricky part.
- The goal is to minimize tortilla on tortilla contact so that no one bite of burrito contains too much tortilla.
- As you roll, you want to press the burrito's contents down the length of the tortilla, forming a barrier between inner and outer tortilla, as shown.
