Ann Riley's Thru Neila Monroe's Apple Dumplins - Apple Dumpings

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Peel, core and slice each apple into 8 pieces.
  3. (note: one of those round gadgets that core and slice apples into 8 pieces, does the trick great, but the old knife and hand still works.)
  4. Take each slice and wrap one of the cresent rolls around it, sealing the edges well.
  5. Place each of them in an ungreased glass 9 x 13 inch baking dish (as we call it here, a pyrex dish).
  6. Then in a saucepan, melt the 2 sticks of butter, then add the sugar and cinnamon, just heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  7. Then pour the butter, sugar and cinnamon mixture over the apple/rolls.
  8. Then pour the can of mountain dew over that.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees (175 C.) for 45 minutes.
  10. (Now how simple can it get, and it is great!!
  11. And cheap.)
  12. I think I would like to use more apples, and Ann said, you can if you want too, just preference!
  13. !
