Bitter Melon Hamburgers Topped with Melted Cheese

  1. Cut the bitter melon into roughly the same size, and remove the insides with a spoon.
  2. Slice it into about 7-8 mm.
  3. Rub with salt (not listed), and rinse well.
  4. (I don't like the bitter flavor, so I lightly boil the bitter melon in salt water).
  5. Thoroughly knead the hamburger patties, and stick a slice of bitter melon on both sides.
  6. Cover in flour used for frying.
  7. Add oil to a pan, and brown the patties on both sides.
  8. Top with cheese, and cover the pan with a lid.
  9. The hamburgers are done once the cheese has melted .
  10. Simply drizzle with soy sauce when eating.
