Tomato Chutney
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 5 sambar onions
- 2 tablespoons roasted gram dal
- 4 round red chilies
- 2 green chilies
- 12 tablespoon ginger
- 12 tablespoon garlic (optional)
- 14 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon frozen coconut
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Heat oil, add sambar onions and fry.
- Add tomatoes and fry.
- keep this seperate.
- Add roasted gram dal and red chillies.
- Dry roast it.
- Cool and grind to powder.
- Grind tomato mixture, dalia powder and rest of ingredients in mixer.
