Aunt Betty's Platz

• 2 cups icing sugar
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 eggs, slightly beaten
• 2 12 cups flour
• 4 cups apricots, halved
• sugar

1. Beat together the icing sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs and flour.
2. The batter will be very thick.
3. Spread half of the batter in bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan.
4. Lay fruit down on top.
5. Sprinkle with a little sugar.
6. Cover with remaining batter.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until baked all the way through.
