Wisconsin Cheddar and Beer Spread

  1. Open beer and allow to stand while grating cheese and combining remaining ingredients.
  2. Mix in beer, starting with eight ounces, using a mixer.
  3. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add more beer as needed.
  5. Pack into a container; cover and refrigerate.
  6. Bring to room temperature when serving with crackers, bagel chips or hearty bread.
  7. Makes four cups.
