Easy Ice Cream Bombe

  1. Spread ice cream onto bottom and up side of plastic wrap-lined 1-1/2- to 2-qt.
  2. bowl.
  3. Sprinkle evenly with 1-1/2 cups of the chopped cookies; press cookies into ice cream to secure.
  4. Cover; freeze 30 min.
  5. Spoon sorbet into center of ice cream mixture.
  6. Cover; freeze at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Unmold onto serving plate.
  8. Cover with the whipped topping; sprinkle with remaining cookie pieces.
  9. Let stand at room temperature about 10 min.
  10. before serving for easier slicing.
