Fruited Turkey on Biscuits
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 12 lb ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 12 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 12 teaspoon fennel seed
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 1 medium apple, chopped
- 34 cup V8 vegetable juice
- 14 cup raisins
- 14 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 biscuits
- Brown ground turkey in butter in skillet, along with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, fennel seed, salt and pepper.
- Break up turkey while cooking.
- Add apple and onion.
- Stir and cook until tender.
- Stir in V8 juice, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Serve on split biscuits.
