Greek Pita Tostadas
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground chicken
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 4 whole wheat flat Greek pitas
- 4 cups chopped lettuce
- 1 cup chopped English cucumbers
- 2 plum tomatoes, chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- 1 cup Cracker Barrel Crumbled Feta Cheese with Oregano, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Black Pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup Kraft Greek with Feta and Oregano Dressing
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cook chicken in nonstick skillet on medium heat 13 to 15 min.
- or until done, stirring frequently and adding garlic and oregano after 5 min.
- Meanwhile, place pitas in single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake 5 min.
- or until crisp and lightly browned.
- Serve pitas topped with chicken and remaining ingredients.
