Montana Grange Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the oil and honey.
  3. Cook until heated through; set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the oats, wheat germ, and nuts with the honey-oil mixture.
  5. Spread the mixture about 1 inch thick on a rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Bake, turning the mixture a few times with a spatula, 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. Let cool.
  8. Add the dried fruits and toss to distribute well.
  9. Store the granola in an airtight container for 3 to 4 weeks.
