Maple Syrup

  1. In a 2-cup glass measure, combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and cold water.
  2. Microwave on high 2-3 min.
  3. or until syrup is clear and thickened, stirring every minute during cooking.
  4. Stir in maple flavoring.
  5. Cool.
  6. Refrigerate tightly covered.
