- In a large microwave safe bowl, add water and broccoli and microwave it on high for 5 minutes.
- This is going to steam the broccoli and bring out the rich green color.
- Drain the water and let the broccoli cool for 10 minutes.
- Now add the steamed broccoli, green chilies, coriander, salt, red chili powder and pepper into a large food processor and pulse everything for 2 minutes or until broccoli is mushy and everything is mixed together and smooth.
- Add boiled potatoes, semolina, flour and corn flour into the food processor and mix everything together for a minute.
- Make 20 round patties (tikkis), place them on a platter and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- (This step helps binds the tikkis together.)
- Heat a large non-stick pan over medium flame, brush with oil and place 5-6 tikkis at a time into the pan.
- Let them cook for 2 minutes then turn to the other side and cook until both sides are cooked and brown in color.
- Remove from pan to a plate.
- Repeat until all the patties are cooked.
