Patriotic Layers

  1. Stir 2 cups of the boiling water into each flavor dry gelatin mix in separate medium bowls 2 min.
  2. or until completely dissolved.
  3. Stir 1 cup cold water into gelatin in each bowl.
  4. Refrigerate blue gelatin 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression).
  5. Let strawberry gelatin stand at room temperature.
  6. Add blueberries to thickened blue gelatin; stir.
  7. Pour into 4- to 6-qt.
  8. glass bowl.
  9. Refrigerate 30 min.
  10. or until set but not firm (gelatin should stick to finger when touched and should mound).
  11. Spread with 3-1/2 cups of the whipped topping; refrigerate.
  12. Meanwhile, refrigerate strawberry gelatin 1-1/2 hours or until thickened.
  13. Stir in strawberries; spoon over whipped topping layer.
  14. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  15. Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  16. Store in refrigerator.
