Super Simple Tuna Cakes
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning (or according to taste. I use Tony Cachere's)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or according to taste)
- 13 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 (5 ounce) can solid white tuna (drained)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon oil
- In a bowl, mix together tuna, cajun seasoning, garlic powder, bread crumbs and mayo together.
- If you feel it is too wet add more bread crumbs.
- I you feel it is too dry add more mayo.
- Add oil to skillet and heat on medium high heat.
- Grab mixture and form into patties about 1/2 inch thick.
- Place them in hot skillet and cook for about 5-7 min on each side depending on how big you made them.
- Once browned and cooked through serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
