Red Onion and Apple Chutney with Blue Cheese

  1. Heat oil in a fry pan and cook red onions until lightly browned.
  2. Add apples, vinegar and water; simmer until apples softened.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, salt and pepper.
  4. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Serve the chutney on water crackers with a wedge of blue cheese.
