Bruschetta Recipe

  1. Remove skins of the tomatoes, remove seeds and chop finely.
  2. Put tomatoes, garlic, 1 Tbsp olive oil, and balsamic vinegar in a bowl and mix.
  3. Add chopped basil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Slice baguette about A 1/2 inch thick slices.
  5. Coat one side with olive oil.
  6. Place on a cooking sheet, olive oil side down.
  7. Place in the oven at 450 A degrees F on the top rack.
  8. Toast for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Place toasted bread on a platter, olive oil side up and put the tomato topping on each slice and serve.
