New Orleans Buck Cocktail

• 2 oz aged rum
• 1 oz fresh orange juice
• 3/4 oz ginger syrup
• 1/2 oz lime
• Angostura bitters

1. Combine ingredients in a shaker and whip (shake with a small amount of ice for a few moments).
2. Strain into chilled collins or highball glass and top with soda.
3. Add a garnish of candied ginger and an orange wedge.
