Super Corn Dogs Recipe

• 1 c. corn meal
• 1 c. flour
• 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
• 1/2 Tbsp. pwdr curry
• 1 small can cream corn
• 1/2 c. corn starch
• 8 regular franks
• 1 slightly beaten egg
• 8 popsicle sticks

1. Be sure franks are dampened a bit but not wet.
2. Mix all ingredients together, including egg, creamed corn, and oil.
3. Add in buttermilk a little at a time till it is at the right consistency.
4. Almost like a cake batter).
5. Set aside for a few min allowing baking pwdr to rise.
6. Place corn starch in a flat dish.
7. Push popsicle sticks into franks and roll then in the corn starch, shake off eccess, then coat with the batter.
8. Heat sufficient oil in a pan to cook four dogs at a time.
9. Cook to the degree of brownness you desire.
