Lobster Jarlsberg Fondue
- 1 lb jarlsberg cheese
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 34 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons white grape juice
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 6 ounces lobsters, cooked and chopped
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash white pepper or 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 2 sourdough baguettes, cut into bitesize cubes
- 2 apples, chopped
- Shred the cheese.
- Toss the shredded cheese with the cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Pour the broth into a pot and set over low heat until bubbles rise.
- Gradually add the cheese, a handful at a time, until the cheese is completely melted.
- Do not let boil.
- Transfer to a warmed crockpot on low (or keep it in pot to eat).
- Stir in the juice, vinegar, and lobster.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Serve with dippers.
