French Cherry Pie
- 1-1/4 cup fine vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1-1/3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 pkg. French vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 can (1-1/3 lb.) cherry pie filling
- Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl; mix well.
- Press over bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake at 375F for 8 minutes.
- Cool.
- Blend cold milk, sour cream and flavoring in mixer bowl.
- Add pudding mix.
- Beat at low speed for 1 minute.
- Pour into prepared pie shell.
- Chill for 2 hours.
- Spoon pie filling around edge.
