  1. Cook sugar, karo and water until it forms a pretty firm ball when tested in.

  7. Add marshmallows to first mixturethen.
  8. pour remaining syrup over first mixture.
  9. Add vanilla and pecans and continue beating until it holds its shape.
  10. Pour into buttered pan.
  11. Cool and cut into squares.
