Shortcake Or Biscuits Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3 tbsp. shortening
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- Combine ingredients in order given.
- Don't over mix.
- Pat batter into 8 or possibly 9-inch square pan.
- (Cupcake papers in muffin pans works well too.)
- Can be used as shortcake with fruit or possibly biscuits with butter and jam.
- Bake at 475 degrees for 25 min.
