Easy Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 c. fresh strawberries, mashed or possibly pureed (1 c.)
- 1 can Eagle brand lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Red food coloring; optional
- 1 pt. whipping cream, whipped (don't use non-dairy whipped topping)
- In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except whipped cream; beat well.
- Mix in whipped cream.
- Pour into 9 x 5 inch loaf pan or possibly other 2 qt pan.
- Cover.
- Freeze 6 hrs or possibly till hard.
- Makes about 1 1/2 qts.
