Lottery Homemade Soup
- 1 quart tomato juice
- 1 (12 ounce) can ham stock
- 3 teaspoons barbecue sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
- 3 -4 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, dices
- 4 celery ribs, chopped
- 8 ounces diced ham
- 1 -8 ounce diced chicken breast
- 12-1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn
- 1 (15 ounce) can green beans
- 3 bay leaves
- In a crock pot or large pot, add tomato juice, salsa, hot sauce, ham broth and barbecue sauce.
- If making in a crock pot heat on low for 4 hours.
- On the stove top bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer for 1 hour.
- Add all the remaining ingredients in the crock, cook on low for 8 hours or until vegetables are to desired texture for your taste.
- In the pot add all remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 - 11/2 hours or until vegetables are tender, but not over cooked.
- Serve with hard crusted bread.
- Remember to take out the bay leaf.
