Bacardi Chocolate Rum Cake Recipe

  1. Heat Oven to 350F.
  2. Grease and flour 2 9" cake pans.
  3. Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl.
  4. Blend well then beat on medium for 2 min.
  5. Pour into prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake for 30 mintues, or possibly till done.
  7. Set aside to cold completly before frosting.
  8. In chilled bowl, mix remaining 4 ingredients.
  9. Mix well, then beat on high speed (whip cream) till light and fluffy.
  10. Cut each layer horizontally and frost.
  11. This recipe was from a Bacardi bottle in the 1970's.
  12. I think it's too much rum, but then I am not a rum drinker.
  13. Don't SERVE TO CHILDREN!
