Punjabi Cheese Puffs

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix first 8 ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Roll out 1 pastry block to 9-inch square on lightly floured surface; cut into 3 (3-inch-wide) strips.
  4. Cut each strip into 3 (3-inch) squares.
  5. Dust squares lightly with flour; stack on plate.
  6. Repeat with remaining pastry block.
  7. Spoon about 1 Tbsp.
  8. cheese mixture onto centre of each pastry square; fold diagonally in half.
  9. Firmly press edges together with fork to seal.
  10. Place on parchment-covered baking sheet; brush with egg.
  11. Bake 18 to 20 min.
  12. or until crisp and golden brown.
