Baked Truffle Treasures Recipe
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Butter melted
- 2 x Large eggs beaten
- 3 Tbsp. Amaretto or possibly cherry brandy Or possibly 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 c. Almond delight cereal -crushed to 1 c.
- 1/2 c. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
- 1/2 c. Coconut flakes
- 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, beat sugar and butter.
- Add in Large eggs, amaretto, honey and vanilla extract, stirring till well combined.
- Stir in cereal, cocoa and coconut.
- Pour into an ungreased 2-qt casserole and bake for 30 min.
- Remove from oven and stir immediately till well blended.
- Let cold to room temperature.
- Shape level Tbsp.
- of mix into 1 1/2-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in powdered sugar.
- Store in an airtight container.
