Crock Pot Cabbage Rolls

  1. Wash cabbage leaves.
  2. Boil 4 cups water.
  3. Turn off heat.
  4. Soak leaves in water for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove, drain and cool.
  6. Cook ground beef with chopped garlic and onions until browned and then mix with cooked rice, salt, pepper and thyme.
  7. Place 2 tablespoons meat mixture on each leaf and roll firmly.
  8. Stack in a crockpot or slow cooker.
  9. Combine tomato paste and water and pour over stuffed cabbage rolls.
  10. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 - 10 hours.
