Beef And Macaroni
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
- 13 cup celery chopped
- 1 teaspoon parsley leaves dried
- 13 cup sweet red bell peppers green, chopped
- 1 each garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 cups pasta, elbow macaroni dry
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 28 ounces tomatoes can, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3/4 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese american cheese, dry
- Place hamburger in large skillet.
- Separate into small pieces and saute until meat is brown.
- Remove meat from skillet and drain off most liquid.
- Place pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes and drain.
- Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet and saute onion, celery, peppers, and garlic until soft.
- Add cooked pasta, hamburger, tomatoes, bouillon, parsley, sugar and pepper.
- Toss ingredients.
- Simmer slowly for 20-minutes while stirring frequently.
- Serve when flavors have blended.
- A small bowl of dry american cheese should accompany the meal with crusty bread, and green salad.
- Serves 4.
