Banana Pecan Cake

  1. Combine cake mix, eggs, bananas, oil, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  2. Beat at low speed until moistened.
  3. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees in 2 9 inch greased and floured layer pans for 33-38 minutes.
  6. While cake is baking, place 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans and butter in skillet.
  7. Cook on medium heat, stirring until pecans are toasted.
  8. Stir into frosting.
  9. Cool.
  10. Frost cake.
