Maple and Nut Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Unroll pie crust.
  3. Gently lower the crust into a 9-inch removable bottom tart pan.
  4. Carefully pat dough into place being careful not to stretch it.
  5. You can roll over the edges of the tart pan with a rolling pin to remove excess dough.
  6. In a bowl whisk together eggs, sugar and salt.
  7. Next whisk in maple syrup.
  8. Add nuts, and mix to combine.
  9. Place tart pan on rimmed baking sheet; pour in filling.
  10. Bake until filling is set, 55 to 60 minutes.
  11. Cool completely in the pan.
  12. Remove tart from pan before serving.
