Dream Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Drain pineapple, reserving 2 Tbsp.
  3. juice; set aside.
  4. Combine sugar and butter in 13x9-inch pan.
  5. Arrange pineapple slices in pan, cutting if necessary to fit.
  6. Place cherry half, cut-side up, in center of each slice.
  7. Sprinkle with reserved pineapple juice, then nuts.
  8. Beat remaining ingredients with mixer until blended; pour over ingredients in pan.
  9. Bake 50 to 55 min.
  10. or until top springs back when lightly pressed in center; cool in pan 10 min.
  11. Invert cake onto plate.
  12. (Do not remove pan.)
  13. Let stand 1 min.
  14. ; remove pan.
  15. Serve cake warm or cooled.
