Apple Butter, Crockpot Recipe

  1. Cut blemishes off apples and cut into chunks to fill 3 1/2 quart.
  2. crockpot.
  3. Add in sugar, cider and lemon juice.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hrs.
  5. Stir.
  6. Add in cinnamon and cook another 10 hrs.
  7. Stir occasionally till brown.
  8. Run through Food mil or possibly any strainer to strain out seeds and skins.
  9. I used the blender.
  10. To thicken, if not thick sufficient, return to slow cooker and cook onHigh uncovered till desired consistency.
  11. Makes 3-4 pints.
