Turkey Sausage & Sauerkraut Recipe
- 1 pkg. turkey sausage
- 1 lg. jar Claussen sauerkraut
- 3 lg. potatoes
- 3 carrots
- 2 c. turkey or possibly chicken broth
- 1 sm. pkg. or possibly 1 can green beans
- Season with Lawry's salt free 17, pepper & garlic to taste
- Peel potatoes and cut into bite size chunks.
- Parboil for a few min till slightly soft.
- Drain.
- Cut carrots into bite size chunks.
- Add in cut up turkey sausage, whole can of sauerkraut, undrained, potatoes, carrots and 2 c. chicken broth.
- Simmer 1 1/2 hrs, uncovered.
- Add in green beans in last 15 min of cooking time.
- Serves 4 easily.
