Bread And Butter Jalapeno Pickles Recipe

  1. Drain liquid from peppers, layer onions and peppers back to jar.
  2. Use a larger jar than the one the peppers came in.
  3. Combine liquid and remaining ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Let Cold (THIS IS IMPORTANT).
  5. Pour liquid over peppers and onions.
  6. Chill 7 to 10 days inverting jar every 2 days.
  7. This makes sufficient for about a half gallon.
  8. Can be doubled.
