Buttercream Frosting Recipe
- 4 ounce Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 stk Butter, unsalted, softened
- 3 c. Confectioner's sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the cheese and butter.
- Add in the sugar, 1/2 c. at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Add in the vanilla and lowfat milk and mix well.
- If you like, add in a couple of drops of food coloring and mix well.
- Yield: 1 1/2 to 2 c. frosting.
