Debbie's Beer laced Chilli.
- 2 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/2 cup each chopped celery & green pepper
- 3 clove garlic minced
- 2 can (28oz) diced tomatoes
- 3 can (16oz) red kidney beans drained
- 1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp tabasco sauce more or less to your taste
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 can (12oz) Molson Canadian beer or beer of your choice
- in a large pot over medium heat cook beef, onion, garlic, celery and green pepper till meat is no longer pink, drain fat, add beer and spices simmer 20 minutes
- combine the rest of ingredients with the cooked beef mixture
- cover and let simmer 60 - 90 minutes stirring occasionally
