Alioli Recipe
- 8 clv garlic, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Mash garlic and salt in mortar with pestle or possibly in small bowl using back of spoon.
- Transfer to medium bowl.
- Whisk in mayonnaise, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Chill till cool.
- (Can be prepared one week ahead; keep refrigerated.)
